Sookie and the Werewolf
I am well and truly impressed with the 3rd series of True blood so far. Sookie has hooked up with a hunky ‘good’ Werewolf named Alcide who has been asked by the Viking Vampire Eric to protect her whilst she goes in search of her lost love Bill Compton, who has been kidnapped by the Vampire king of Mississippi and he’s Werewolf followers. The king wants to marry the queen of Louisiana to form an alliance and so needs the loyalty and info that Bill can provide. Some where along the way Both Sookie and Eric also find themselves at the kings home and to their shock Lorena is too. All the while every one wants to know what exactly Sookie is…It seems that not only can she read all minds (apart from vampires) but she sends out a powerful blue bolt of light that protects her from harm when she is being attacked or gets angry.
Meanwhile Back home in Bon Temp things are changing for the others as a slightly mad but cute English Vampire by the name of Franklin makes a claim on Tara, Keeping her tied up so that she can’t get free of him and all with the intent to turn her into his blood sucking new wife. Sam finds his real parents and discovers he has a shape shifting brother too, but all is not as it seems with this family who appear to be trouble. For a brief while Lafayette finally got himself a man of his own, but all went wrong when he got caught out to be supplying V. Terry finally found the courage to tell Arlene how he felt about her and has since moved in to her place, but Arlene has just discovered that she’s pregnant, Terry is over the moon about it, but un known to him the baby is not his. Sookies brother Jason has decided to join the police force so that he can bring ‘Justice’ to their small town, but becoming a police officer is not as easy as he had hoped.
Lastly there’s poor Jessica who is struggling on her own being a ‘new’ vampire with out the help of her maker Bill. She freaked out after accidently killing a man she was feeding from one night, but now has a job at Merlottes to help keep herself occupied and is doing her best to keep things together.
I love this programme and thankfully it’s helping to heal the empty void I now have in my life each week since series 1 of the Vampire diaries ended a couple of weeks ago Sigh!
luv ‘n’ hugs Talena-maria x
