I have no idea why until yesterday I had not seen Letters To Juliet (What’s wrong with me? lol ) This is completely and utterly my type of movie, Ok so there are no wickedly hot vampires or any muscle bound werewolves, but it’s sooo romantic.

It all begins when Sophie who is played by relatively new girl Amanda Seyfried goes on holiday with her Fiancé to Italy. Whilst there Sophie is constantly abandoned by Victor who is only interested in finding the perfect ingredients to take back to his new restaurant  in New York.

By chance Sophie finds her self sitting in front of  Juliet’s wall at a fictional courtyard in Verona where 1000s of people have been leaving letters for years that get answered by ‘The Secretaries Of Juliet’ She finds an old letter behind a stone in the wall that was written almost 50 years previous and can’t help wanting to send a reply, and hopefully help 2 lost lovers find each other again.

When a young but very rude man gives Sophie a piece of his mind about sending replies to things that should be left well and truly aloan, she realises that Claire – played by Vanessa Redgrave -  who wrote the letter all those years ago has returned to Verona wanting to find her lost love and sets out on a quest to help find him,

much to the annoyance of Claire’s grandson Charlie (‘The Rude young man’) – played by the very cute Christopher Egan.

I’m happy to say that the movie ends up exactly how I wanted it to, with Claire finding her love from all those years ago whilst Sophie and the now not so rude Charlie fall deeply in love and end up together…sigh!.

Before I finish, I feel it’s only fair that we take a quick look at a couple more pictures of  Christopher

I think he had a very appealing ‘Heath Ledger’ kind of look going on when he played the role of Roran in the dragon movie Eragon.

Well guys it seems we have two more years left of our beloved Twilight before it’s all over .

Filming for Breaking Dawn is due to begin in November this year and all being well will finish by next March. The movie is to be made in to two parts just as we all suspected considering how much there is in the book. The first part  will be released in November of next year , following with the final part  sometime at the end of 2012 (no doubt also in November) . We still don’t seem to be getting any answers as to who will be playing the part of  the beautiful Renesmee which is quite frustrating. I know obviously they will need a baby to start with but I’m intrigued to know who they have in mind for the main part .

Although I will eventually have the complete set of movies to watch over and over with my daughters when we want to have a girly Twilight night in the future (hubby will just have to go out a lot lol ) it will still be very sad when it’s all come to an end. Stephanie Meyers books have united so many people from all around the world, bringing not just women but a whole lot of men together creating a bond between fans that I for one hope will never break or go away. In the last few years I’ve been on various websites,forums etc that have had absalutely nothing to do with Vampires in any way, but have ended up chatting with lots of people who love Twilight just as much as I do and I have to say “it’s been great”.

I mentioned in my post the other day that I was in the middle of reading a great vampire book called Single white vampire by writer Lynsay Sands whom I had never heard of until now. It’s actually the second book in the Argeneau vampire novel series, and now I have finished it, I can tell you that it was brilliant. It’s a modern story obviously involving vampires that are incredibly hot and well worth giving up everything you love to be with. But these books have a comical twist to them and are not the usual teen slushy romance that most of us adore . These vampires need blood just the same as any other, they read and alter peoples thoughts, they are alluring and intelligent, but they also eat normal food, sleep like humans, go out in the sun when they have to, but unlike most vampire stories we have ever read, The Argeneau family are not the walking dead, but simply descended from an ancient blood line thousands of years old that was once genetically changed and enhanced allowing the blood to evolve and fight off the effects of aging and all known illnesses.

This particular book is all about Kate Lever who works for a romance publishing company and is sent to the home of vampire novelist Lucern Argeneau in the hope she will be able to convince him to meet his fans on a book signing tor. But on arrival at the writers home Kate finds much more than she bargained for. Lucern is over six hundred years old and rather set in his gentlemanly ways. He finds it difficult to socialise around the modern day humans, especially the very upfront bossy women. But when Kate comes stomping in to his home it turns his normally controlled and private life completely upside down as this annoyingly persistent and attractive female gets right under his skin and firmly embeds herself in his heart.

I’m glad to have found these books. I can’t wait to collect the rest. They make a very entertaining read and leave you intrigued to find out what happens to brothers Etienne and Bastien, I only wish I’d found them in the right order as I’ve just read the middle one first ‘Doh!’…

Hi everyone, I haven’t posted anything for a while now and that’s basically because I’ve had loads to do. Firstly it’s summer break for our daughters so I have to try and be a responsible parent lol and keep them occupied. We have also just been away on holiday to our favourite place high up in the mountains of south Wales. This is the glorious view we had to look at each day (Bliss!). Then when we got home we finally stripped and re-decorated our master bedroom, so it now has a wonderful oldie worldie cottage look and feels extremely warm and snug to be in.

I have to admit to feeling a little bit of Vampire with-drawal as I haven’t had a chance to be on my PC or even sit down with a good book lately, speaking of which I started a great book a couple of weeks ago called ‘Single white Vampire’ that I have only managed to get about half  way through. Once I get the time to finish it I will let you know all about it.  Meanwhile I think I’ll just go and look through all my pictures of Edward and Damon to keep me going

I keep checking online and today I’ve been down to my local Waterstone’s book store to ask why book 7 of the vampire diaries -The return-Midnight- hasn’t been released yet and when I can expect to purchase my copy?. To my utter dismay I was told that it’s not coming out until next year…”Whats that all about?” I really can’t wait all that time to find out what happens to Damon now that he’s become Human again, “AAAAH!” so frustrating.
